Ootd! Awaiting Spring

Hello dear readers! Today I'll be showing you one of my favorite outfits ever! As you can already tell, pastel blue and pink are my favorite colors and I love mixing them! Warmer days certainly request the removal of heavy jackets and coats and give us more freedom (at least that's how I feel after finally letting go of heavy coats 😁😁). That's why I decided to jump into a cozy sweater and rock a skirt with some knee highs and clean white sneakers! Yay to freedom! 🔥🔥🔥🎉🎉

Here's the overall look! This is one of my favorite sweaters in the whole world and I like to call it my "grandma sweater" lol! The knitting is perfect and the white stripes makes the blue pop out. It's warm and will protect me from a breeze but won't make me sweaty when the sun comes out.
Underneath I went with a pastel pink pleated skirt which I thought would be a great combination and complement the baby blue top. I wanted to make the look even more fun so I added a grey kitty cat ears hat (anything with ears on top is a win for me 😁😊😊)

Here is a closer look where you can see the details and accessories 💖💖

I decided not to tuck my sweater in the skirt (even though I usually prefer to) because I think covering the top of the skirt looks cuter and sweeter. In my personal opinion, pleated  skirts in general look very cute when covered on the top and are especially effective if you're going for a relaxed look.

Every time I create an outfit that plays with colors a lot, I like to tone it down with neutral socks and footwear. That's why I chose white kneehighs and sneakers for this look and I think the result is pretty adorable! 🐈🐈🐈 now, lets take a closer look at the sneakers!

These cuties are a lucky find and since I have really small feet, I regularly find them in kids sections of stores like, in his case, H&M kids. What I like most about them is the upper strap which gives them a more fun and childlike form. Kawaii!! 💝💝
Lets move on to the accessories!

I went with oh so colorful kawaii bracelets and a kawaii heart-shaped necklace (which is originally intended to be a headband but since it streched a bit, I like wearing as a necklace). Both bracelets are made from wood and can also be used as necklaces. The first one is a mixture of pink, white and red in shapes of hearts, beads and cute flowers while the second one adds a contrast with its yellow, red and blue beads, tiny roads and cars. I absolutely adore both! The necklace is made out of tiny plastic hearts which remind me of candy and are conected by a pink elastic band.
They are so playful and fun and can be combined in whichever way you prefer and will add a sweet dolly look to any outfit!

Once again, thank you for reading my post and I really hope you enjoyed it and took some inspiration for your own kawaii outfits! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀

Have a wonderful day! Xoxoxo ❤️❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘😘😘😘
