Review - part 1 - INKED BARBIE COSMETICS

Get ready for a sparkle of pure glamour!!! That's right, I'm finally doing a review on Inked Barbie Cosmetics, something I've been waiting to do for a long time! Now it's finally here! :)

www.candyrockcouture.com

Inked Barbie is a brand new vegan cosmetics line created by Candy Rock Coutoure and will be available very very SOON so get ready!! I'm going to give you an exclusive look into the world of this glittery goodness so you can see for yourself why I'm so excited about this! Let's go!

First, have a look at this collage I made of the eyeshadows and lashes I used to create my first look!

At the top left corner you can see the packaging and the Inked Barbie logo which I adore. In those adorable tiny boxes I received a pair of creamy eyeshadows/eyebrow paint and glitter.

The pretty blue eyeshadow tone is called SKY CANDY and the pink one is XOXO. As I mentioned before, they can be used both as eyeshadows and eyebrow paint. The best thing about them is that you can achieve very different looks. You can make them very soft by applying them with your fingers or very vibrant if you decide to tap them with a brush. I personally think it's very hard to find an eyeshadow which will give me a "wet" look and will stay vibrant for quite some time. This is why I think you can create brilliant mermaid looks with these eyeshadows! As you can see in the picture, I decided to combine them to be vibrant and restrained myself from too much blending because I wanted the edges to be clear and sharp. At the same time, I played with softer versions of the pink on the bottom eyelid.

Now let's talk glitter!! GlamDoll Glitter comes in two shades in my pictures: BI-POLAR BARBIE (pruple/pink tones) and KAWAII MERMAID (blue tones)! You can use them in whichever combination you want. If you use them with an eyeshadow of similar color, you can expect the color to explode and shine with every blink! It's even more exciting to use them with different colors because amazing things happen :3 :3 :3 Here I matched the colors to see what would happen and omg, suddently my "mermaid wet look" transformed into a "rock n roll badass candy mermaid look" in a second :D
KAPOW!!!!

And of course, I can't go without mentioning those rockin' eyelashes!! Inked Barbie has a falsies line called Dream Doll Lashes which come in various shapes, colors and sizes! For this part of my review I want to show you two pairs: TOKYO-POPSTAR (in the first collage) and BARBIE DOLLICIOUS (second collage). They are comfy and glamourous at the same time and that's why I can easily wear them for hours. I want to also note that sometimes big lashes are tough to trim and shape perfectly and it takes time for their shape to suit your eyes however I'm happy to say it happened rather quickly with these, despite their size :) TOKYO-POPSTAR is my new favorite pair for cosplay while the BARBIE DOLLICIOUS pair is perfect for a night out with friends and badass lolita styles n_n Meow!!

In the second part of my review which is soon to come, I'll show you some other combinations and styles I've made by wearing different products from the line :)

Inked Barbie is everything I've hoped for and I wish you will enjoy it as much as I did. Please visit the links I'll list below if you want to know more about the fashion wizard that is behind the Inked Barbie line and many more :) :) I hope you enjoyed my review! ❤️

Lots of hugs and kisses,

Nika

Ootd! Rock chic and ulzzang inspired look!

Hello my fellow kawaiiers! :D For today's ootd I'll be presenting something a little bit different. As you might have already noticed, I love colorful clothes and accessories! However there are days when I really love to spice it up and go with a more 'rock-chic' look, like I did today. There are definitely steps I take to make sure the whole outfit is fierce but also cute because cuteness is imperative! ❤️❤️❤️ I present you with my outfit of the day:

One of the things I've realized over the years is that for me, a short black leather jacket is a must have. It goes along well with almost every piece of clothing you could choose! Even if I'm in a crazy hurry, I know that grabbing this jacket will definitely spice up even the most monotone of looks. That's what I went with here also. The jacket is short and classic, very simple. Underneath, I went with a dark blue long-sleeved shirt with flowers on it. What I like most about it is the deep blue color filled with a flower patter which is a mixture of very subtle reds, greens and yellows. On the bottom, I went with dark blue skinny jeans (I'm obsessed with skinny jeans x))! I'm sorry that the lighting is not flattering for the shoes but you can see that I chose black boots. They have a high platform which gives me more height (it's always a good thing since I'm only 5.2ft/162cm short xP)! On top of everything, I put a kawaii grey hat I got a loooong time ago and was lost deep in my closet until very recently when I decided to dig up a couple of long lost babies like this one :). This wig is a very big part of this look. It's hard to explain the color since it changes so much under different lighting but I would have to say it's a mixture of pastel purples. I also must say it's one of my favorites and I adore how it adds to the overall style. ❤️❤️
Let's take a closer look at the accessories!!

On the left I wanted to bring attention to this adorable but at the same time pure rock'n'roll bracelet. It's black and silver with silver gem buttons added to its center! On the right you can see my necklace which was a birthday gift from my mom many years ago though I still wear it all the time! It's a wooden creepy cute doll with giant eyes and tiny little hands and legs. Freakin' kawaii xo xo xo xo!!❤️❤️❤️
Here's another look of the overall oot:

As always, I hope you had fun reading my post and enjoyed today's outfit!!

Lots of love and kisses,

Nika

Review: Geo Princess Mimi Sesame Gray (Bambi series) !!

Hi everyone n_n ! Today I'll be reviewing a pair of circlelenses called Geo Princess Mimi Sesame Gray from Bambi series :) I got them almost a year ago from   http://www.pinkyparadise.com/?Click= 142459 ! Perfect for cosplay, lolita or just everyday kawaii styling of your choice. They are very big and the color really pops up which means they're going to be very noticable and will draw attention (which is absolutely a positive trait in the world of lenses, in my opinion :)). Let's just get right to it!

This is the kawaii animal lense case I got with the lenses :3 I'm not 100% sure but I think it's two yellow hippos!! How cute is that! On the right you can take a look at the lenses inside the case. They look like a pair of crazy eyes! 0_0 n_n let's se how they look when put to good use!

This time I added a picture in which you'll also be able to see how the lense looks when compared to the natural eye. My eyes are naturally dark brown as shown in the first picture. As you can immediatelly tell, the lenses make a huge difference in size and their color does not fade away or change (a very important fact for us dark eyed princesses and princes :3). They have a very large black ring on the edge that just doubles the size effect but at the same time leaves enough space for the gray color and pattern to show. I find this particular pattern fascinating and unique. The center is faintly brown colored and that's why the transition from brown eyes is gentle and elegant. The middle part is very grainy gray and black stripes that come out of the outer edge make the pattern even fuller and more expressive. However, you may notice that when it comes to darker settings and dimmer lights (the right eye is covered in shadow just a tiny bit) the color turns darker and sometimes when I wear these lenses at night or dim house lights, they seem very dark gray when observed from a distance. In any case, light or dark, the pattern is just simply awesome. I will reorder this pair as soon as their time for disposal comes. I personally use them mostly for cosplays in which I'm not exactly sure what the right eye color should be for the specific character because they're neutral, huge and noticable! What I didn't expect when buying this pair is that they would be so comfortable. I never made it through 6 hours of wearing my other models. Even though most of the other models are comfortable too, I don't even notice these beauties which is surprising especially because they're so big!

Here you can take a look at them from different perspectives and combined with different makeup styles! Neko cosplay on the left compared to a sweet lolita on the right!

Here's the original picture of the lenses found on   http://www.pinkyparadise.com/?Click= 142459
This model seems to be very popular (comes in different colors as well) and I can see why. Definitely a worthy purchase! :3 :3

Ootd! Awaiting Spring

Hello dear readers! Today I'll be showing you one of my favorite outfits ever! As you can already tell, pastel blue and pink are my favorite colors and I love mixing them! Warmer days certainly request the removal of heavy jackets and coats and give us more freedom (at least that's how I feel after finally letting go of heavy coats 😁😁). That's why I decided to jump into a cozy sweater and rock a skirt with some knee highs and clean white sneakers! Yay to freedom! 🔥🔥🔥🎉🎉

Here's the overall look! This is one of my favorite sweaters in the whole world and I like to call it my "grandma sweater" lol! The knitting is perfect and the white stripes makes the blue pop out. It's warm and will protect me from a breeze but won't make me sweaty when the sun comes out.
Underneath I went with a pastel pink pleated skirt which I thought would be a great combination and complement the baby blue top. I wanted to make the look even more fun so I added a grey kitty cat ears hat (anything with ears on top is a win for me 😁😊😊)

Here is a closer look where you can see the details and accessories 💖💖

I decided not to tuck my sweater in the skirt (even though I usually prefer to) because I think covering the top of the skirt looks cuter and sweeter. In my personal opinion, pleated  skirts in general look very cute when covered on the top and are especially effective if you're going for a relaxed look.

Every time I create an outfit that plays with colors a lot, I like to tone it down with neutral socks and footwear. That's why I chose white kneehighs and sneakers for this look and I think the result is pretty adorable! 🐈🐈🐈 now, lets take a closer look at the sneakers!

These cuties are a lucky find and since I have really small feet, I regularly find them in kids sections of stores like, in his case, H&M kids. What I like most about them is the upper strap which gives them a more fun and childlike form. Kawaii!! 💝💝
Lets move on to the accessories!

I went with oh so colorful kawaii bracelets and a kawaii heart-shaped necklace (which is originally intended to be a headband but since it streched a bit, I like wearing as a necklace). Both bracelets are made from wood and can also be used as necklaces. The first one is a mixture of pink, white and red in shapes of hearts, beads and cute flowers while the second one adds a contrast with its yellow, red and blue beads, tiny roads and cars. I absolutely adore both! The necklace is made out of tiny plastic hearts which remind me of candy and are conected by a pink elastic band.
They are so playful and fun and can be combined in whichever way you prefer and will add a sweet dolly look to any outfit!

Once again, thank you for reading my post and I really hope you enjoyed it and took some inspiration for your own kawaii outfits! 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🎀🎀🎀🎀🎀

Have a wonderful day! Xoxoxo ❤️❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘😘😘😘

Circle lens review: G&G Shinny Green (Puffy 3-tone)

For my first review I wanted to present you with my all time favorite lenses. These were the first ones I've ever owned and since then I had to re-order them because they're just amazing. My eyes are naturally very very dark brown and I've always had a bit of trouble finding lighter lenses that would look bright and getting the color to be at its full potential :) that's the main reason Puffy 3-tone are absolutely stunning and a perfect choice for dark eyed guys and girls. Just to be clear, in case somebody might be wondering, I excluded editing from the eye area in pictures so the colour of the lenses doesn't change n_n!  http://www.pinkyparadise.com/?Click= 142459

I ordered these cuties from pinkyparadise.com and they came with this adorable pink piggy lens case :3 which I adore as well.

This is how they look on dark eyes in daylight. The colours blend from light brown in the center to light green in the middle and finish at the darker green and black mixed edge. I think the light brown center makes them blend very nicely to my natural brown eye color. Also on a verrry important note: they give extra enlargement due to the color mix and a dark black outer circle!

Here is another look at how the lenses look in daylight :)

In this picture you can see how they look when exposed to artificial light. As I was saying, sometimes lighter lenses lose their vibrance on darker eyes when not directed towards bright daylight, but not in this case! These lenses absolutely win at keeping their vibrance and brightness even in darker surroundings ! :3 :3 yay!

This is the original preview you can find at the website! Source: pinkyparadise.com

REVIEW IN GRADES ❤️❤️❤️

Color: 5/5 - these babies make your eyes doll like green and stay true to their color during daytime and nightime.

Comfort: 4/5 - I would not recommend wearing these lenses over 4 hours. In general, they are pretty comfortable however I wouldn't wear them for the full recommended period of 6 hours.

Enlargement: 5/5 - they will give you great enlargement! Their diameter is 14.50mm.

Thank you so much for reading, I hope you enjoyed the review! ☺️☺️💖💖💖💝💝💝 kisses and hugs!! 💋💋🎀🎀

First post! Omg! Ootd

Dear fellow bloggers and kawaii fashion enthusiasts, here is my ootd and item descriptions (including available links to products). I hope you enjoy!

Soooo finally spring is coming! To celebrate, I chose happy pastel colours to complement my happy mood. This is a completely wearable look for shyer sweet lolitas! Pastel blue and pink colours on the top calmed down by a black skirt, warm knee high socks and black leather flats.

This fuzzy fake fur coat keeps you warm so you can still rock a short-sleeved T-shirt underneath. I also went with warm orange lipstick to cheer up the look even more!

Since it's still not very warm outside I wanted to keep my feet warm so I went with these kawaii black flats and warm knee highs which also have cute buttons on the side (sorry for the bad quality photo 😁). I also wore a basic black skirt which is mostly covered by my long pink shirt but adds some balance.

I accessoried with a black pastel goth necklace, some kawaii bunny hair clips and a sweet pink and white pearl butterfly bracelet! I love having a combination of 'conflicting' accessories including both dark and sweet ones. I'm also wearing a brown bob wig in this picture because I find it goes well with this look and covers less space so the outfit stands out, but usually it's optional.

I hope you enjoyed my first post! I'm overexcited about the blog and plan on continuing on weekly updates!
